Today’s been a week that’s been extremely easy and natural to be constantly thankful. One reason is because I’ve been able to chat with my mom and three sisters a little more than usual. These four girls {can I call my mom “girl”?!} mean the absolute world to me and make me such a better and happier person. I’m very thankful to have a mom who is a living example of what unconditional love looks like and for the opportunity to be a big sister to Kerry, Katie and Hope. We’ve never had an argument that lasts more than a few hours {and usually about borrowed clothes…} and I’m constantly counting down until I see them again!
I’m thankful for my mom - for her enthusiasm, patience, kindness, encouragement and for her wonderful ability to laugh at herself. I’m thankful that she’s my #1 cheerleader and makes everyone around her happier at all times!
I’m thankful for Kerry - for her laid-back attitude, for our awkward and goofy conversations, for her ability to make every situation a little easier and simpler. I’m thankful I literally have zero childhood memories without her.
I’m thankful for Katie - for her passion and adventurous spirit, for her spunkiness and scrappiness, for her taste in music and really long letters in the mail. I’m thankful that there’s never a dull moment with her around.
I’m thankful for Hope - that she’s my little baby {and now a big girl/teenager! Eek!}, for her maturity and honesty, for her cleverness and sweetness. I’m thankful that even though we are eight years apart, we can talk about anything and everything.
Thank you, four favorite girls, for investing in my life and reminding me how wonderful it is to be in our family. Lots of love to you!
