Happy Tuesday queens! I recently read something where Halle Berry was quoted saying: “I spent a lot of time with a crown on my head.” While we’d all probably get a few odd looks wearing an actual crown during work or class, we can treat ourselves as such. As I shared on my About page: “that’s what being a queen is all about – loving yourself, embracing yourself, treating yourself as a best friend. Holding yourself in high regard because you know – regardless of job, relationship, age, body size, [whatever] you are valuable and loved. You are clothed with dignity.”

I truly believe this is a mindset we need to be in at allllll times. Anyway, I couldn’t help but share a few favorite crown photos in today’s Mood Board post. When was the last time you wore a crown {or acted like it!}?

I shared a fall-inspired moodboard last October and after my trip back to the crisp Midwest, I felt like it was time to share another! We had a fall day last Sunday where we spent the afternoon carving pumpkins and making hot apple cider {while wearing flannels and big sweaters of course!}.

One week until Christmas! With the weather getting colder, I’m all about layers, but especially throwing on my (faux) fur vest or jacket. Today’s mood board is all about the touch of fur – whether in a coat, jacket, vest, earmuffs, pillow, rug or socks. Enjoy! xo

Happy Tuesday lovies! Hope you’re having a splendid start to your week. I haven’t done a Moodboard post since early September and felt it was extremely appropriate given how inspiring and lovely fall is. I LOVE FALL – the clothes, the crisp morning air, the way the leaves change colors, etc. so this Moodboard post certainly reminded me how fantastic the months of September, October and November are. I do have to admit – this fall is very different from most. It’s about 80 degrees here in San Francisco’s “Indian Summer” during mid-October! While I was wearing sweaters and leggings in June and July, now I’m wearing skirts and dresses in October. Very weird, but very happy to be here nonetheless. I hate to say it, but I’m ready to pack on the layers!
